Crock Pot temperatures – What degree is the warm setting?

October 11th, 2011

I know the low setting on a crock pot is about 200 degrees and the high setting is about 300 degrees.
But I also have a "warm" setting and would like to know what temp it is.
Any ideas?

What about 150 degrees. …My Crock pot have high or low and warm not numbers ……..sorry

put some water in it and use a thermometer to tell the temp of the water once it is at temp.

I don’t know what temp it is, but it is nor for cooking. It is just to regulate the temp of the cooked food. I guees it’s probably about 120 or so.

I am not sure about the degrees but that is the setting I use when I want to leave something cooking all day.

It should be around 165 degrees F or higher. Its probably not above 185, because, as I remember, that’s the temp cream soups begin to separate. 165 is USDA’s recommended minimum temp to hold warm foods. 40-165 degrees F is the danger zone because bacteria love that temp range. But you should do as another advised – check it with a thermometer.
